Shawn’s practice is devoted primarily to construction and real estate law, premises liability, personal injury, business tort, and commercial litigation.

Representative Experience
•Representation of clients, both as defense counsel and on plaintiff side, in civil litigation including motion practice, discovery, dispute resolution, and trial;
•Defense of builders, general contractors as well as subcontractors in residential and commercial construction defect claims in courts statewide and in arbitration;
•Defense of pool contractors in contractual and defect claims;
•Representation of owners, builders, contractors, and developers in lien disputes;
•Assist various business clients in transactions matters including contract review, drafting, and due diligence;
•Defense of auto dealership in Civil Litigation in a consumer claim;
•Defense of elevator subcontractor in a construction wrongful death claim OCIP case;
•Defense of general contractor in a construction accident wrongful death claim;
•Defense of property owners, property managers, and a manufacturer in premises liability claims;
•Representation of estate in intestacy and probate matters; and
•Successfully negotiated and settled dozens of claims for and against clients.
