About Sepideh Agahi

Agahi Lawyers was founded by Sepi Agahi, a Melbourne-based lawyer with a strong foundation in law, commerce, and client advocacy. Admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2014, Sepi brings a thoughtful and strategic approach to legal practice, shaped by a diverse personal and professional journey.

Having migrated to Australia in the early 2000s, Sepi understands the challenges and opportunities that come with change , whether it’s navigating legal systems, starting over, or protecting what matters most. Her lived experience as a migrant, mother, and legal professional drives the firm’s values: clarity, empathy, and excellence.

Sepi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), equipping her with the legal knowledge and commercial acumen to understand both the technical and human aspects of the law. She has gained valuable experience working across both boutique and mid-sized law firms, where she supported a wide range of matters in commercial and immigration law, assisting individuals, families, and business owners with practical, outcome-driven advice.

Earlier in her career, Sepi provided legal advice to women at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre and worked with clients navigating mental health challenges through community legal centres. These experiences deepened her commitment to serving vulnerable individuals, including those facing systemic barriers, social disadvantage, or personal hardship. This perspective continues to shape her empathetic, respectful, and client-focused approach to legal practice.
