During his time at law school, he was a standout performer and a member of the prestigious Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot, the most renowned international moot worldwide for the University of Alberta.

Additionally, he served as an editor for the prestigious Alberta Law Review and participated in the Provincial Court of Alberta clerkship program, where he honed his legal skills and developed a deep understanding of the Canadian legal system.
