Vahid Yeganeh

Vahid Yeganeh is the founding partner of Englobe Law LLP, where his practice focuses primarily on civil and commercial litigation, followed by criminal defence and immigration litigation. He represents business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and individuals in complex legal disputes while helping businesses make informed legal decisions long before disputes arise. His approach is grounded in the belief that practical legal guidance should be informed by real litigation experience.

With more than fourteen years of legal experience across multiple jurisdictions, Vahid represents business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and individuals in complex civil and commercial disputes. His practice includes contract disputes, shareholder conflicts, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, debt recovery, injunctions, and other business-related disputes. He believes that successful advocacy begins long before a hearing, through a thorough understanding of the client’s business, disciplined preparation, careful legal analysis, and a strategy supported by strong evidence. His litigation experience also informs the legal guidance he provides to businesses, helping clients identify legal risks early and make confident business decisions.

Vahid also maintains an active criminal defence practice, representing individuals charged with a broad range of criminal offences from the earliest stages of an investigation through trial, sentencing, and appeal. He approaches every case with disciplined preparation, careful analysis of the evidence, and a strong commitment to protecting the rights of the accused, including identifying procedural and Charter issues where they arise. In addition, Vahid represents clients in immigration litigation, including judicial reviews, mandamus applications, and immigration appeals before Canadian courts and tribunals.

Before establishing his practice in Canada, Vahid practised law in Tehran, Iran, where he represented businesses and individuals in a wide range of complex civil, commercial, and white-collar criminal matters. His experience included acting in high-value proceedings involving claims exceeding €2 billion, giving him substantial experience in managing complex disputes and high-stakes litigation.

Vahid has successfully defended his Ph.D. Comprehensive Examination in Oil and Gas Law (ABD) at Shahid Beheshti University and holds an LL.M. in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, an M.A. in International Business Law, and an LL.B. from Shahid Beheshti University.

Beyond his legal practice, Vahid is the editor and author of Business Law Insights and Federal Court Trends, where he analyzes significant developments in Canadian business law and immigration jurisprudence, translating complex legal developments into practical guidance for business owners, legal professionals, and the public.
