Yasna Beheshti

Yasna enjoys a broad litigation practice including personal injury, statutory accident benefits, priority dispute, loss transfer, occupier’s liability, property and casualty claims. She has appeared before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and proceedings in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

She has extensive experience conducting Examination Under Oath in Accident Benefits claims. Her style of questioning is conversational allowing claimant’s to reveal information which they may otherwise not want to discuss. She takes a conciliatory and reasonable approach with opposing counsel which allows for effective and timely resolution of claims.

I am a strategic thinker with a client focused mindset. Most importantly, I approach my practice with integrity.

Yasna received her J.D. from the University of Ottawa and a I.B.B.A.(Hons) from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

While attending law school, she was one of the founding members and Treasurer of the Iranian Law Student Association. Currently, she is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Toronto Lawyers Association, Canadian Defence Lawyers, the Advocates’ Society and a Board member of the Iranian Canadian Legal Professionals serving as a co-Chair.
